Is there a difference between years for the dashpad? Will a 75 fit in a 70 car without modification? Thanks, mark

All the dashpad are the same. The texture of the early pad is said to be different. All the tops I have seen over the years appear to be the same. I have noticed suttle differences in the texture of the ashtray pull.
