Is there a difference between years for the dashpad? Will a 75 fit in a 70 car without modification? Thanks, mark

If you are talking about the dash with the ash tray part they are different. The glove box relief on the 70-72(maybe to 71) is larger and your glove box will not open all the way with a 73 and later dash.
I've got a nicely recoverd '73 dash and I did not use it in my '70 car because of the glove box reilief.

I'm talking about the large vinyl covered foam pad that covers the top of the dash, not the actual metal dash.

Yeah, so are we. If you look at the area where the glovebox is there is a relief in the pad to allow the glovebox door to swing up. Early to late are different size reliefs.
