Is there a difference between years for the dashpad? Will a 75 fit in a 70 car without modification? Thanks, mark

First, there are two variations of the dashpad. Early '70 - '71 and late '72 - '76. The change was when the side vents were introduced in '72 making the glove box and door smaller in width.
To answer your question, the late dashpad will fit on early dashes, but the glove box door will not open all the way causing scuffing to the relief on the underside of the dashpad. Just be careful opening the g-b door. Mine has been in place for over 10 years until I can find a quality substitute. It doesn't show unless one knows what they are looking for.

A '75 dash-pad will not fit into a '70 car without modifications.
