			 Hi All

I am plugging away on the conversion - at least as time permits.... sigh. I have the carbs (40 IDTP 13C), but have not picked up the manifolds. For the 2.7 do I run the normal 911 manifolds (part number 911101321R) with the 40 top bore and the 32 bottom bore? I need to know what to look for. If anyone has a set, I would love to chat. The 2.7 is stock and I plan on using the PMO spacers. As always, thanks a million... -Scott S |

			 Hi JP -

It is a 77 911S. I was just told that it needs 40 over 36. Is it 35 or 36? I just want to make sure I am looking/searching on line using the right terminology. Thanks Again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Scott S |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Scott S My 76 was 35mm which I opened to 36. According to the book, all the USA 2.7Ls were 35 mm intake ports. The exceptions were the "normals"(150 hp) and the RS (NA in the USA) at 36mm. The "short" manifolds (the black ones in TCs pic) can be opened to 35-36. The "tall" (PMO) are 36mm from the get go, IIRC. The PMO insulators are 36 and (IMO)you want these and the manifolds as they block off the notch in the head as cast for the injector. There are also plugs for the air injectors next to the exh port. Pelican & EBS carry these. |
