Apologies as I am sure this has been documented, but I could not dig it up in search...
I am looking for a documented thread on installing a 911 front end swap into the 914. I have a 1986 911 front end and I am now preparing to install it. Thanks in advance, Larouex |

Sounds like you have an SC front end. It's still a bolt for bolt exchange with the worst part being aligning the splines on the steering gear. Your 914 MC/Rack cover will not fit.
The big sway bar is the underbody swaybar. You should have hoops on your A arms with rubber bushings in them. The ends of the bar go in those. The aluminum crossbar just replaces the steel one. |
