> front suspension re-install, something is not right

putting the front suspension back in the car and the driver side front A-arm mount wont line up. all the other bolts are in , but this one seems to need to go back towards the back of the car. all the bushings are new and are compressed in as far as they can go.
also, i think one of the threads in the body is stripped. what size bolt do i need , the ones i have are 20mm but the aa catalogue says they should be 30mm

May I point out that the good doctor was a "thailor" himself in the Coast Guard. He drives a Subaru, and he is into trannies.
