let me know if you know this stuff. Some of it may be obvious, but remember that I am still learning. Other parts, I am just wondering if they belong to a 72. All of this that is worth anything will likely end up in the classifieds as soon as it is identified, so if you want it, let me know.

Pic 3 .... one on left is an SR15X, Type 1 Bug starter, won't work worth a shit on a type 4
One on right is a SR17X ... known as the VW Automatic starter ... correct for type 4s and 914s, some 911s. Pic 6 ... Alternator ... can't see the entire Bosch number to give you the applications Pic 5 ... Early 1.7, tailshifter engine mount bar Pic 4 ... 75/76 914 smog pump and 76 912E You won't get rich on any of it. Total value as cores, maybe $20 Ahhh ... John beat me to it. |

Thanks for all the replies so far guys, just to set the record straight, I know none of this junk is highly valuable stuff, so I'm not asking so I can try and make a bunch of money. I am really just trying to learn, and if someone needs something here, by all means it's a cheap price (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I didn't buy the car for what was in the trunks by any means. (except for some trinkets I'm not showing pics of here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif) |
