Watts and I need this for our bastard subaru children.
Its a Metric poly-V belt - 27 inches/686mm long, with 5 ribs - "PK" spec. I've searched all over the net and can only find manufacturing supplier that want me to call and order 10,000,000zillion of them. Any ideas? Fiid. |

QUOTE(fiid @ Mar 4 2004, 11:36 AM) The local FLAPS has a big theft problem - they used to be a bit better about letting you behind the counter to look at stuff, but these days you can't even look at the tools. Dude, you need to do some social engineering. When I go in and ask about something obscure and they ask what make/model/year I just tell them straight up - I'm fabbing parts for a race car. They say "Come on back an lets see what we can find". You'll answer questions about your project, which they will think is cool, you'll make a friend, and get the part you need. Secondary issue. Rather than run the power steering pump, why not just pull it off and put an idler in it's place. Then you can run the stock belts. This seems to be the logical thing to do. -Ben M. |
