I agree, the results indicate driver skill first, car second.
Build costs; the 914 starting price is $5-10k lower. I had $4k into mine when I started racing. Build costs would be a good debate, and cost of AX TIV vs Boxter motor build is a great place to start. I had read elsewhere Brit had to replace the clutch, I wonder if it eventually did perform at 100% after the fix? Doesn't really matter, right, because it was a BMW that won!
