I pickep up Jim's car last weekend and got started on it today. Car will be pretty much stock. For right now I will be taking care of the metal work, after that is done I will either continue on with the body and paint, or Jim will take it back and do some of that himself. Any way, here we go (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Scotty, after you have sanded the filler down, do you spray the bare metal with etch primer?
You mentioned you're going to primer the car by the end of the week(end), what type of primer? Then you let it sit for a couple of days that add the high build primer, what type? -- Rob |

I use Evercoat slick sand but there are several good types out there. I used to use ( and actually prefer ) U-Pol but it is quite a bit more $$ than the Evercoat. |
