With that setup, you can tune the exhaust header lengths to look for the optimum length for a particular combo of engine parts, and you can check for optimal exhaust routing in a particular chassis before you go to rigid pipes. I'm still looking for the slide trombone fittings to vary the pulse lengths. With a coupla slides, you won't have to keep cutting the flex pipes to look for an optimum length. Only problem I see with something like that is: the more variables you have, the more combos you have to try to get meaningful data to identify the optimum setup. |
