Big thanks to Craig for helping to facilitate picking up our new 914. Turned out to be a great day and a great drive back home.
914 is better than I would have thought. Thanks again Craig! Dan & Michelle Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

Sounds like it's time to go back to injection. My teener had a single progressive that ran gr8, but we sourced all the injection parts and an ms programmable system and it runs even better than before. It even looks stock!

Been there, done that, recently I might add. You're typically trading a host of problems for another host of problems. Remember that even the newest 914-4 FI is 34 years old. The last "system" I purchased for a great deal, but still wound up dumping about $500 into in new parts and another $200-300 in the missing parts. I knew the parts were missing, so it was all part of the known expense and I also know that FI is much better than carbs, but just because I can install it doesn't mean my 914 would run any better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Still thinking about it. Local guy(s) have the parts if I decide to. I'd rather just drive it right now though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |
