Well, The wife is working all 3 days this weekend, so all my little 914 projects are going to get done. here's what's on the docket:
What do you all have planned for the long weekend? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) P.S. any boston area teeners are welcome to come by and wrench with me! Rich - What's your wife's work number & I'll call to remind her that she surely forgot to give you the honey-do list! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) No reason I should have one & you not! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Unfortunately mine only has "call" on Monday - so it's "her" New Gazebo & furniture, BBQ cook, clearance & install new Westy Alloy Wheels' center caps, Kleen Wheels Westy & BMW & wash both, repair BMW seat/back cover/etc., my Office shelves, new back door fitted & hung, etc. ..... then maybe some 914 time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Make sure to check your clutch cable tube is securely welded at the firewall, mid-rear tunnel & forward of shifter while you're doing those cables Rich. It's a common 914 problem for them to break loose & slop around while you're trying to clutch! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Something to entertain the kiddies while you (try to) work on your 914 - (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif) .... those with kids know how this goes, if you don't have any yet! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ![]() (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jsharp.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) ... and just a reminder this sunny Mammorial Day Weekend, that this also works for Light Ivory 914s - as well as Gold, Copper & Anthracite Grey metallic color 914s (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) ![]() (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |

Rich - What's your wife's work number & I'll call to remind her that she surely forgot to give you the honey-do list! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Tom, I've got the honeydo list too, believe me. Mow the lawn, fix the guest room toilet, paint the attic stairs...it's all about multitasking!! QUOTE Make sure to check your clutch cable tube is securely welded at the firewall, mid-rear tunnel & forward of shifter while you're doing those cables Rich. It's a common 914 problem for them to break loose & slop around while you're trying to clutch! While installing the rennshift, i discovered mine has broken free forward of the shfter (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I patched it up with some JBWeld until I can get it to Racer Chris' place for a proper repair job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) QUOTE Something to entertain the kiddies while you (try to) work on your 914 - (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif) .... those with kids know how this goes, if you don't have any yet! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) None of these yet! I'm trying to get this 914 as sorted as possible for when they do arrive...so I can maximize the time I spend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |
