The wife is working all 3 days this weekend, so all my little 914 projects are going to get done. here's what's on the docket:

Buy a cable clamp (U bracket) and bolt the front of the tube down ... permanent!

Slits...I thought of that exact same thing, but had a hard time getting a drill in there to attach the cable clamp. After the JB cured, I got pretty aggressive trying to move it around. I think the JB is permanent! (only time will tell...) easy enough to get back in there with a cable clamp later if I have to. the good news is the clutch tube weld @ the FW is still very strong. |
