The wife is working all 3 days this weekend, so all my little 914 projects are going to get done. here's what's on the docket:

for anyone considering a rennshift, I have two statements: 1. It's worth it. really. if... 2. your tranny is in good shape. My tranny is in good shape, I have some slop at my rearmost bushing, but that's the only flaw i can detect, no grinding or clunks anywhere else. My clutch tube, which was broken free at the front, worked fine with the stock shifter, but made the rennshift inoperable (probably because it has more horiz displacement in the tunnel). a rennshift on top of a well functioning transmission is a beautiful thing. |
