Decided to pull the 914 out of the garage for the first time in 11 years and get her back on the road. Started doing some research and came across this site. After lurking for a while, I finally decided to make myself known and say hello.
So hello to all and more specifically hello to any Aussie 914 owners here. There seem to be many very helpful people here and I look forward to being an active member. Phil |

Thanks for making me feel so welcome..mate I reckon there are way too many rules in Rugby that's why lawyers and private school kids play it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) as for the beer I'm not to fussy about what I drink.
I imported my car from California back in '87, converted it to rhd, five studs and fuchs, turbo front suspension, etc etc whacked a 2.7 six on webers into her (which lasted about a week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)) then a 2.0 which lasted about 10 years (it was supposed to have a rebuild before it went in:)) and currently has 2.4 with E cams and the same webers. Yeah it's very dry and has all the metal it came out of the factory with except the usual hell hole repairs. Also added factory GT flares and stiffening plates and some tubing here and there. Want to paint it properly you know..bare metal and Glasurit here are some pictures I took the other day |
