Does anyone know of a good DVD/Blu-Ray player that will also play the PAL videos?

In Europe every basic Pal DVD player car read NTSC and convert the signal to Pal. But US hardware are mosty built cheapo and the player or the TV may not be able to read the DVD.

What does the TV care? You mean you have to have a PAL tv also? I thought if you sent the TV a signal, it would display it.
