I really feel sorry that 200+ people had to die, but I think the thing in spain was a stupid move by terrorists. First; this attack makes Bush right in so many ways. All these things people attributed to a stupid US are now invalid because they bombed spain too! The terrorists are just nuts and they will bomb anybody.
Second they are asking from an attack from the european union, if they finially decide war isnt bad... <_< Also consider this couldnt have come at a better time for the Bush campaign. Now Bush's war on terrorism is justified because the terrorists ARE crazy, and right before election time it doesnt help kerry's campaign to be wrong about the war. And bush would continue fighting and kerry would most likley pull out. So, the terrorists have pissed off the euros, prooved the US right, and now the US will probably get UN approval because they were attacked on their own terretory. Now this doesnt compare in magnitude to the 9-11 attacks, but I am confident when it happens to your own people its different. Remember it took ~120 people to get WW2 started for the US... blonde; i totally agree with you on the degredation of society. Former president slick willy insisted crime was down, but you have to ask yourself at what cost. People were buying guns to protect themselves more then ever, bars were going up on windows, we had more cops, more "after school programs" and more money was dumped into the scum of the world. Jails are hugely overcrowded now and our legal system sucks because of it. |
