Well. Huh. Look at that. I guess we DID have a good time at ECC. More info will be forthcoming. Zach (probably an idiot, but only 1/2 an idiot.) |

Carbon Fiber will make it lighter/faster! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
This deck lid weighs in at 8.8lbs. And the humps will give people something to talk about. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

What are those humps for Chris? Complete foolishness if you ask me. A proper suspension mod job doesn't require exterior body modifications. QUOTE Have any more of those laying around? Sorry, just the one. Yeah, I wasn't even thinking about that as I know you raise the spindals and therefore wouldn't need to do that. |

Yeah, I wasn't even thinking about that as I know you raise the spindals and therefore wouldn't need to do that. Raising the spindles helps the geometry on a lowered car but doesn't have any bearing on the position of the top mounts. The only value to raising the top perches is to prevent the shocks from bottoming out on a drastically lowered car. It would be better to install shorter inserts and shorten the strut housings, but I haven't found a need for that yet either. I can envision some strut inserts, like the Ground Control double adjustables which have adjuster knobs coming out the top, needing extra space for the adjusters above the limitations of the stock bodywork in some installations. |
