Yeah, comparing the 012 to the 914 tranny is kinda like comparing a tractor to a honda. One shifts like silk, the other is a 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Honestly, the gold is coming up with a package that allows this tranny to be mated to a type IV.
