Looks nice! 2.8 Factory Pistons & Cylinders Since the factory 2,8RSR heads have huge combustion chambers and are rare and expensive, how did you manage to keep the CR manageable? Did you find a stash of 2,8 heads, or do some other magick ? For my 2,8 I'm thinking Nickies and JE's just to keep the rest of the custom work to a minimum... Having the same problem when building my engine with factory 92mm p/c and ending up doing alot of work on a set of 2.7L heads to get the compression ratio down to a pump gas level...for a future project I would certainly consider this alternative!! http://www.xtremecylinderheads.com/index.html The are cast heads that can be CNCed to any configuration. I have no idea what the cost for the work on these would be, but, you would get exactly what you are looking for. Peter |
