Where can I obtain bell crank, throttle linkage cables, rods, etc for a 3.2 liter DME conversion car?

I used the James Patrick throttle linkage kit, which eliminates the bell crank, uses a much shorter cable, and routes the throttle cable in close proximity to the heat exchangers. It's a much simpler system, but the problem is that when you get caught in a traffic jam and sit around idling for a half hour or so the throttle cable fries for lack of cooling air flow and the car becomes undrivable.

Did you guys use the stock 914-4 (or 6) throttle cable? And did you route it under the engine with any heat shielding or protection?

I'm using a standard bellcrank and stick on my 3.2 conversion, and although it works fine, I'm a big believer in making things more simple and eliminating potential defects. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
