I need 20 to put this together.
These will ship in about 20 days from the time the group buy is complete. I had thought about tackling these as a project, but the quality and detail already in place with this kit couldn't be surpassed. This system is built like a frikin V2 rocket, totally over engineered, but a proven system, with attention to detail on every part. The only drawback is that there isn't a formal instruction sheet, I'm trying to put one together with the help of a few members here. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Thanks Eric and Rob for your support.
I understand your frustration, all too well. While quite creative, I don't think we need the Tshirt. Vendors like Eric and PMB and myself are the little guys, and we work very hard to try to get the best products possible to the 914 communtity. Here's the difference, our passion is not the cash. The reason the number of parts that I'm making has grown so much so fast is that I'm not taking any cash (other than to cover expenses). It's all going to R&D, and new tooling. I don't have to make a profit. I try to cover the costs and make enough that I can continue to create more stuff, but this venture is done to help make restoring these cars more affordable. With the recent turn of events I would like to think that my ultimate goal of doing so is manifesting itself by some of the actions we've seen here. Huge margins are becomming a thing of the past at AA. Look at how much the prices have been reduced. Sure, I may be the target, but the ultimate goal of making the cost much less to restore is being achieved. I'm not trying to ruin George (even though he may do this himself), but his actions past and present speak very loudly about his nature. I had to wait a day to digest all the events here before making any comment as I really didn't want to say anything that was rash. I would like to look at the turn of events as a confirmation I'm on the right path. And so far I have had no one back out, I haven't heard from everyone yet, but it looks like this will all work out. While quite creative, I don't think we need the Tshirt. I disagree. I have a new business and I need something that is Guaranteed to sell. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) Attached image(s) |
