I think a key issue is to check the VIN at all 3 places to verify that it is in fact a factory 6, as well as OE colors, condition, etc. - since it has some USA vs. Euro/World versions' discrepancies, & an unknown first +/- 7 years up to 1977 when these plates were assigned. Not saying it doesn't appear to be a six, but I've also seen a couple of fake-sixes passed off over the years.
Unfortunately, AAA wouldn't give me the VIN, not being my car. |
