"You can bore the heads for larger tubes and solve the issue, else you'll have to have the correct seals which are NLA as far as I know.. I'd use the old seals and seal them up with my teflon sealant.." this a reply from the classic thread "push rod tube seals."one of my tubes is leaking at the head original 1.7.i was going to order some seals but it appears they are nla? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)

Just note that the early 1.7 heads have smaller bores for the pushrod tubes than most heads do. AFAIK, you can get the silicone seals for those but the "usual suspects" don't carry Viton seals for the smaller bores.
