So I dropped the drive train and have it torn down to the case but that's another thread. I have some non std #'s on this existing djet. It is a 73 2.0 GC (originally a 1.7 hint). The ECU is 021A VW or 052 Bosch std for the GC; the MPS is 051E which is for a 1.7. BTW, George had previously mentioned it would be fine except a little lean at higher rpm's; these next two, I have no idea. The Dizzy is a 022 905 205Q ??? and the CHT sensor is 0 280 130 017 ??? The injectors are 038 green.
Next question, any input on this integrated FI combo? |

I was hoping that you would have time to chime in. Embarrassed that I read over the CHT several times; thx. I finally found the dizzy; on PP parts catalogue. It is for a '72 1.7. Care to enlighten me re: adjustment of the ECU? Just the thought scares the hell outa me. So a quick recap of this Frankenstein FI conglomeration. First, yes it is a '75-'76 engine, the correct '75-'76 ECU, a '73 MPS (051E), a '73 2.0 CHT (017) and a '72 1.7 Dizzy (VW #205Q or Bosch #007). The ECU can be adjusted??? the mps can be adjusted??? the wrong CHT sensor, and a dizzy that is yet to be decided?
