I have these things on my fuel system, didn't realize that you just cut the hose, oil, and insert the end.

Are these things safe? Seems too easy.

I was planning on using these for my -12 oil lines.

Aeroquip already did that.

Assembly rated at 300deg continuous at 250 psi.

The AQP has the same temp rating but a much higher pressure margin, 500 => 1000 psi.

Jake said he has seen 300psi on very cold startup but I think the socketless is probably OK for a racecar, maybe not for a race airplane.
