Easy to do using all off the shelf Porsche parts. 2 right side (long) 914 parking brake cables, 914 rear calipers and center tunnel mounting. Just need to fabricate the base like this guy did and locate two holes in the firewall to run the cables . No modifying cables needed.

I wish I had seen that thread before I undertook my project. I ended up drilling two holes in the firewall, backed by fender washers, and heavily modifying the two passenger side cables for a custom fit. DOH! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) In any event I think the base fabrication is a better solution, especially if stock cables fit. |
