What do you guys think of this engine?
Does it compare to the engine a couple of threads down? Less than 1000km, currently in car, can be heard and driven. 2056cc T4, based on original 914 2.0 engine (GA case, correct heads, windage tray) 9.5:1 CR All rotating parts precision balanced new NPR 96mm pistons, rings, and liners. Big valves, ported, incl new valves, valve guides, new HS springs from FAT performance. Heads flycut, chambers cc'd all new std bearings (crank not ground) rods resized and bushed, new rod nuts new 911 clutch, rebuilt PP, newly resurfaced flywheel. Again all balanced as a unit with crank and other rotating bits genuine OE porsche 911 'elephant foot' valve adjusters new FAT performance HD rocker studs. new FAT performance street cam - .495" 290 deg, new cam gear of course, new lifters new FAT blueprinted oil pump New Eurorace shorty intake manifolds, match-ported for DCNFs and T4 head. Stainless steel heat exchangers new Mallory distributor and new mallory Hyfire 6 AL ignition (price those up....) completely rebuilt Weber 42DCNFs New K&N filters fancy Accell sparkplug wires Blasted and repainted tin, new hoses , etc, etc, etc... |
