Well, Mark and I have been staring at this 911 for some time now. Yesterday we decided to do a little work. the car needs the rear seat pans and package tray replaced so mark and i went about removing all of the interior so the work can be done. Here is what we started with

and what we ended with after cleaning everything out but the dash.

Yes that is the passenger rear seat bottom.

Yes, it will be an ugly duckling when I get it on the road. Just no money for repaint and body work but it will be fun. Got the car from 914 limited. He told me about it and I said yes sight un seen. This is what i have wanted for a very long time.

To give an example of how times have recently changed for long noses:

7 years ago I traded straight across my 85' 944 NA for a 73' 911T with MFI that still worked. The 911 was kinda an ugly duckling while the 944 was nice. But good luck trying to do that now-a-days!

That was one car I should have kept. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) The 911 that is.
