Becky's son is on the coast between Otsuchi and the epicenter. We just pray he survived the quake and had enough warning to find higher ground because the Tsunami did massive destruction where he is.
I took off work to be with Becky today. We haven't heard anything from her son, nor can we reach him. Of course all services are down, so we don't know when to expect any word. |

That is how lots of people are getting in touch right now with each other as phones are down, cell phones work on and off and some internet access working...see if he is on one of those social networking sites and hopefully he has left some kind of message. All the pay phones are free now even for international calls and they are setting up more around the hit areas so people can get in touch with relatives. The devistation is incredible. Its like a war zone. We are still having after shocks and now on the emergency tv they just posted another emergency tsunami tidal wave warning to get away from the shore immediately |
