I found this on another forum I belong to. The car is a one off but the owner and builder want to start production. The car is now in West Palm Beach FL. Have a look...

I asked how much they think it will weight.....
"Our best guess is 1250-1300 pounds with all fluids but no driver / passenger. We are right around 980 as it sits. We still have to add a battery, exhaust, engine accessories (alterntaor, cooling fan and tins), fuel plumbing and pump, paint, wiring, lights, and some body trim. While I have read repeatedly that the subaru motor weighs less, I can't believe that to be true, so I am guessing the Subaru versions will be around 1500 or so." |

That sounds about right, in line with this site where the 2 are compared somewhat generally. They say the suby weighs about 110lbs more, 35 for the motor, 75 for the radiator.
