Having driven a rail buggy before, I think that a big-ass wing on the front would be way more appropriate. Given that one was rear-engined.
Don't get me wrong - I love the looks of this thing, and I think that it would be a blast to drive. But I also think that it would be an air-tunnel disaster and the wing on the back is purely for aesthetics. |

But I also think that it would be an air-tunnel disaster and the wing on the back is purely for aesthetics. This isn't a rail buggy. You can't just say move the wing to the front. This is a street car. The wing needs to be placed for downforce where its really needed for its application. I'm with you on the wind tunnel. That's exactly what would be needed to stop the speculation about the wing placement. |
