What a porker! JP, I bet that same car in AX trim could be dropped to 1600 lbs easily. Touring cars still carry lights, metal body panels, lots of cage, safety system, windshields, lots of gauges and monitoring systems. After owning a MX5 I have always though it would be a hoot to turn into a prepared car. They have better suspension than old Miatas and that 2.0 motor holds tons of potential with engine resources easily available to get tons of hp from that little ford motor. |
