It seems like 914's are concentrated into a few areas of the country. At least, 914's for sale on the web, and membership on this site would suggest.
When I lived in Tampa a few years ago, I saw ONE 914 in a shop. that was it. Now that I am in CA, I see lots of 914 members online from Tampa! Where were they when I lived there??? Anyway, around here, I see 914's in the Riverside area a lot, and when I lived in Monterey, used to see them around there and the SF Bay area. But here in the perfect climate for them, the Palm Springs total of 914's to date that I have seen is, Two. So, where would you say is the highest concentration of 914's? |

I know I'm stereotyping Palm Springs, but can't most of the residents afford something less NARPy than a 914? Maybe a few GT3s and Ferraris? Needless to say: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Skip |

I know I'm stereotyping Palm Springs, but can't most of the residents afford something less NARPy than a 914? In Palm Springs, you can drive a 914 in December and January - or after dark. Even if you had good AC in a 914 - and there are a few but you really have to work at it - full-tilt AC in an aircooled car on a HOT HOT day is not a happy thing. And you'll probably spend less on a Hyundai _with_ AC than good AC for a 914... |
