I assume the black knob is under a flat door panel and has room to rotate without rubbing? The only thing that would worry me is how long the units will last. I would hate to need to re-engineer it again in a few years with a different type with the door getting rebutchered to fit a better design. My 63 jeep gladiator has had 65 caddy electric window complete mechanisms since 80 and they are still maybe a little too fast and smooth.
