I have a sandwich cooler on my 2.0 that leads to an external oil cooler, it was on there before I bought the car.
Is there a trick to remove sandwich adapter from where the oil filter spins on? I want to make sure I don't mess something up as it's the first time I've delt with a sandwich adapter. Thanks for and tips. Nathan |

IIRC, there should be a nut at the bottom of the adaptor after you pull the filter off. It threads into the filter flange, and has threads that the filter itself threads onto.
It may be that there is more than one kind, but that is what I have seen. --DD |
