Has anyone ever installed Cobra Classic RS seats in a 914 (that you know of)? Any thoughts on them fitting in the stock backpad? I'm ready to take the plunge.

The shoulders hit the backpad just like my corbeau classic IIs. I just finished my install this past weekend.
The Corbeau's use stock rails, with the holes needing some widening, and about a 1/3" spacer between the stock rails and the seats. There are mount points built into the seats at the factory width. I plan to pull the backpad and put up a fabric back cover, with some sound deadening soon. Regardless, those are some fine lookin seats! |

Seems like I can't get my seat back as far as the stock seats, must be why. I'm 6'0" and I can get them where I like them, but I can only go back about another half inch is all. Might not work for really tall drivers with the extra height and decreased rear adjustment. |
