The first time they ran here, the first car out on the track during qualifying dropped the lap record by a full second on his FIRST timed lap, beginning a lap after he took to the track. Cold engine, new and freshly graded track, cold tires, and pretty much guessing at the setup The old record was set by a non-WOO winged sprinter. Those guys are major serious top of the line drivers ................... You owe it to yourself to see 'em live if you have the opportunity. Just 'cause there's a bunch of cars out there on the track doesn't mean you're in for an evening of nascartainment, either. This is the real deal of racing. The Cap'n |
