The engine's finished- ![]() Remember this 3 speed you created? ![]() I'm ready to stuff the tranny for thanksgiving- ![]() The original gasket shims measured = 0.021" The "elring" kit shims are 0.009" each, so the closest I can get to 0.021" is 0.018". So what do I do? I need 0.003" more? ![]() |

I'm confused about why you'd want a three-speed transmission... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) It's going on my two wheeler type 4. Jockey shift and foot clutch, don't want to shift alot. And really don't need more than 3, definitely won't use reverse. Dropped 28 pounds of tranny part weight! ![]() |
