Doc,
The engine's finished-  Remember this 3 speed you created?  I'm ready to stuff the tranny for thanksgiving-  The original gasket shims measured = 0.021" The "elring" kit shims are 0.009" each, so the closest I can get to 0.021" is 0.018". So what do I do? I need 0.003" more?  |

Oh ya, to your original question to me, close is good enough with the gaskets. These boxes are far past needing super fine tuning. Plus, with your bike it would be no issue with the low weight.
