On my 1974 1.8 has these plates on the cross member mounts. Are they jack points? I do not see them in the parts diagrams. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

I'm afraid to ask.

You know not to get under the rear of the car without additional bracing, correct?

Not knowing how they mounted the tranny should be a safety concern now.
