While I was there I asked my mechanic if he would be interested in installing that longitudinal kit and he quoted me $750.00. Does that price sound about right or is he too high again?
I can always stop by a body shop for an estimate also, but if worse comes to worse, I would rather pay more and have it done right as opposed to cheaper and screw it up for me. |

My biggest concern would be installing the kit on a body that was tweeked in some way. I had this same concern with my roll cage. Someone must have thought about this and made up a check list of the things to measure and confirm before you bake the cake. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) When i found out my tub was tweaked, we had to cut the rollcage in several places before we could bend the tub back on the Celette bench. With the cage in place, the tub was too stiff for the Celette. You need to make *sure* everything checks out OK before you weld in any sort of stiffening ... http://www.914world.com/specs/bodydims.php http://www.914world.com/specs/underdims.php (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) |
