IMO there are a number of cars that could fit the bill to run towards the pointy end of XP & E Mod. It would take money, of course, but money spent wisely. This would also take time.....no instant gratification here. It seems to me that making the right moves developing the car is paramount....the poke & hope style of development can be effective but expensive and time wasting when hopeless changes are made. Educated guesses at it are more fruitful, but where do you get the education? Hanging in there through thick & thin while recognizing the good from the bad is a requirement.
Driving the thing is a huge part is the equation. The car won't drive itself. Failure to subjugate ones ego can be the end of development. |

Find a great co-driver and whoever ends up being fastest gets the nod when an event only allows one driver. Or if tire warming becomes the venue for one driver, then so be it. |
