Easier, yes. Cheaper? Not sure.
To change from the tail-shift to the side-shift setup, you not only need to change the transmission (or modify the tail-shift one), but you also need a complete later gear-shift linkage, including all of the rods and even the gear shift lever itself, plus the motor mount bar and all of the mounting hardware for that bar. --DD |
