well, here is how, photo documentation:D

Well, a project this big, and apart needs planning.. And when the engine is apart, the easiest way to make sure none of the major bits get lost is to semi put it together..
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329248546.10.jpg)
Lay out the parts,

QUOTE(Eric_Shea @ Feb 14 2012, 12:44 PM) *

I had a few PMs, someone from the Carolina's on this board, and a few others on PP.

Carbs & air cleaner back on..
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249138.1.jpg)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249139.2.jpg)
And now time to start packing & loading the engine parts in the car.(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249139.3.jpg)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249140.4.jpg)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249140.5.jpg)

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249141.6.jpg)(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249141.7.jpg)
After bagging & boxing, shrink wrap & tape the boxes, place them in the trunk, again, taking pix & sending at each step.. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249142.8.jpg)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249143.9.jpg)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249143.10.jpg)
this car didn't floors:D(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249144.11.jpg)
So I had to get creative..(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249145.12.jpg)
So anything that could be bolted on was.. And bumpers, shift-rod & drivers seat, being to big for the trunks, and no floors made it one more challenge,
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249145.13.jpg)
big zip ties & shrink wrap to the rescue...

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249146.14.jpg)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/forums.pelicanparts.com-226-1329249146.15.jpg)
