I replaced the tungsten sealed-beams with the Hella H4s that take bulbs. The bulbs that came with the lenses aren't too impressive.
What are the best bulbs (and wattage) people run with these lenses using stock wiring and relays? |

Best to get the HP headlight relay kit & upgrade to 80/100w bulbs.
55/65w is the best you can do with stock wiring & relays, so the $25+/- spent for the relay kit is worth it. I did it on our 88 Westy Vanagon & it made a huge difference - wished I'd done it 24 years ago when new! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |
