I replaced the tungsten sealed-beams with the Hella H4s that take bulbs. The bulbs that came with the lenses aren't too impressive.
What are the best bulbs (and wattage) people run with these lenses using stock wiring and relays? |

Reading on the pelican site, it appears you will only get low beam...
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bu...onversions.html Think I will go with 85/100 h4 bulbs and relays. Everything I read about HID in a non-HID lamp is bad news. |

Reading on the pelican site, it appears you will only get low beam... They sell a dual-filament kit that gives you both high and low beam. This will retrofit into H4 lenses, which are purchased separately from the kit. The lens/HID package is around $300. QUOTE Think I will go with 85/100 h4 bulbs and relays. me too. do you have a relay selected and a source? is a kit available? |
