I replaced the tungsten sealed-beams with the Hella H4s that take bulbs. The bulbs that came with the lenses aren't too impressive.
What are the best bulbs (and wattage) people run with these lenses using stock wiring and relays? |

Reading on the pelican site, it appears you will only get low beam...
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bu...onversions.html Think I will go with 85/100 h4 bulbs and relays. Everything I read about HID in a non-HID lamp is bad news. |

Jim I drive a fairly tall vehicle most of the time (Honda Element) and I am constantly blinded by improperly aimed headlights. It is FAR more about the aiming than the wattage when it comes to blinding your fellow travelers. I also bought blue tinted lamps for the Element. After being blinded, I find that I focus back on the road much more quickly with the blue tint and my eye doctor says that it is common to be able to do that especially with aging (46 year old) eyes. |
