Isn't it time for a Bay Area breakfast?
Max's. 2015 Crow Canyon Place, San Ramon. They have a large back room that we used last time. Take the Crow Canyon Road exit from 580 in Castro Valley for a pleasant, almost country road, drive. The 25th at 9:14. |

nice seeing the familiar faces and meeting some new ones in person. good call on switching up the venue, bring different folks "out of the woodwork". jim, mention to your wife i had to go home and put my camera next to a smaller one before i felt better about myself. she'll know what i mean, ha ha!
good on jim for the name tags and organizing this. place coulda done worse with our gang, we were probably half of their total at the time. missed some peoples toast though... i agree on the help. polite enough but, still much to learn. i guess the good ones move on to fancier places. great chatting with marty and jeff at the table. rob and his lovely wife, in the parking lot (dang! forgot her name and i see no name tag in the pics!). it was heartening to hear my ugly irish green was at least one person's fave! rob's son apparently has the irish green die-cast. most of the same pics already posted turned up on my memory card. i'll post another rear end shot. couldn't help but thinking of a roll of life savers candy when looking at all the pretty colors. valy, you're totally right to bug me about getting to work on my poor car. my wife too, wants to see it receive some love, especially paint. i'm stickin' with my "mechanicals 1st" credo though! lately, been distracted with fixing the klr 650 up for riding in death valley though. at least that has given me something good on fuel (50 mpg) to commute with. looking at the pics, i can't help but think those in colder parts must really be hating us...
